The fifth One-Day International between India and New Zealand approaches, with selectors considering whether pacers Sooryavanshi and Kuldeep will feature in the series‑ending T20 International.
India and New Zealand are set to meet in the fifth One-Day International of their bilateral series, a match that could determine the overall outcome after the preceding four games were split. The fixture, scheduled later this week, will be played under standard ODI conditions and will be the final opportunity for both sides to secure a series win before the concluding T20 International.
Team management in New Delhi is reportedly weighing the inclusion of fast‑bowling options Sooryavanshi and Kuldeep for the upcoming T20I, which follows the ODI series. While both bowlers have been in the national setup, their participation hinges on performance assessments and workload considerations.
Cricket fans across the country are closely watching the developments, as the result of the fifth ODI will shape the momentum heading into the final white‑ball encounter between the two teams.
