India edge New Zealand by four runs in rain‑affected second ODI

The second One Day International between India and New Zealand was interrupted multiple times by rain, forcing officials to resort to the Duckworth‑Lewis‑Stern (DLS) method. After the revised target was set, India managed to post a total that left the visitors short by just four runs. The close finish highlighted India's ability to adapt under pressure and secured them a series‑level advantage. New Zealand fought back but fell short in the final overs, confirming the narrow margin of defeat. The result was confirmed by the match officials and reported by international media outlets.
