India dispatches third relief flight to flood‑hit Nepal with rescue team and supplies

A severe monsoon-induced flood situation in Nepal has prompted a swift response from New Delhi. The Indian government has now launched its third air‑lift operation, aiming to bolster relief efforts on the ground.

The latest flight, a transport aircraft equipped for humanitarian missions, departed from India carrying a team of rescue personnel along with food, medical kits and other essential supplies. Officials said the cargo is intended for distribution in the hardest‑hit districts where roads remain impassable.

India’s aid mission follows two earlier flights that delivered similar assistance. Coordination between the Indian Ministry of External Affairs and Nepal’s disaster management authorities continues to ensure that relief reaches affected communities promptly.
