Indian officials allege that China and Pakistan are conducting psychological operations aimed at destabilizing Indian society.

Indian authorities have publicly accused China and Pakistan of launching a coordinated psychological warfare campaign against India. The allegations, first reported by a senior Indian defence spokesperson, claim that both nations are using disinformation, propaganda and targeted messaging to sow confusion and mistrust within Indian communities.

The spokesperson cited intelligence reports indicating a surge in online content and media broadcasts that allegedly spread false narratives about Indian political and social issues. The campaign is said to target key demographic groups, including students, rural populations and minority communities.

In response, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs has called for a diplomatic dialogue and urged the international community to monitor the situation. The ministry also warned that such psychological operations could undermine national security and social cohesion.

Analysts suggest that the move may be part of a broader strategy by China and Pakistan to counter India’s growing influence in the region. The situation remains under close scrutiny as both sides prepare for potential escalation.
