The Reserve Bank of India has declared 21, 22, and 23 October as non‑working days for banks. Customers in cities observing the holidays will find all banking branches closed.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced that banks will be closed on 21, 22, and 23 October in cities where the holidays are observed. The decision follows the RBI’s directive to observe a three‑day bank holiday.

All banking branches will remain shut on these dates, prompting customers to plan their transactions in advance. While physical branches will be inaccessible, digital banking platforms, mobile apps, and internet banking will continue to operate normally.

ATM services and online fund transfers will not be affected, ensuring that customers can still access cash and conduct electronic transactions. For urgent needs, customers can rely on 24‑hour customer care helplines and mobile banking support.

The RBI has made the list of affected cities available on its official website, allowing customers to verify whether their local branch will be closed during the holiday period.
