Authorities have intercepted a shipment of illegal timber in the Kadamtala region, highlighting ongoing smuggling challenges.
Law enforcement agencies have carried out a fresh seizure of illegal timber in the Kadamtala area of Tripura. The operation resulted in the recovery of a significant quantity of wood being transported without valid permits.
This latest incident has brought renewed attention to the persistent issue of illegal logging and timber trade in the region. The recurring nature of such seizures suggests a systematic network involved in the unauthorized movement of forest produce.
Local authorities are now investigating the source of the timber and the individuals responsible for the smuggling attempt to curb the ongoing illegal trade.
