IIT Madras' Centre for Excellence in Robotics and Automation (CoERS) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Chhattisgarh government to promote research, development and deployment of robotics technologies in the state.
IIT Madras’ Centre for Excellence in Robotics and Automation (CoERS) and the Chhattisgarh government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday to collaborate on robotics research and development.
The MoU aims to establish a joint research framework, facilitate technology transfer, and create a skilled workforce in the state’s emerging robotics sector.
Under the agreement, CoERS will provide technical expertise and training programs, while the state will offer infrastructure support and funding for pilot projects.
Both parties expressed optimism that the partnership will accelerate the adoption of automation in manufacturing, agriculture and public services across Chhattisgarh.
