IAS Pawan Kumar Jain Appointed Collector of Bhind, Madhya Pradesh

The Madhya Pradesh government has transferred IAS officer Pawan Kumar Jain to serve as the new collector of Bhind district as part of a recent administrative reshuffle.
Madhya Pradesh has announced a fresh administrative reshuffle, moving IAS officer Pawan Kumar Jain to the post of collector for Bhind district. The transfer was officially communicated by the state’s Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms and is effective immediately.
Jain, a senior civil servant, will now oversee the district’s revenue, law and order, and development functions. The appointment comes as the state seeks to strengthen governance in the region, which has been focusing on agricultural and infrastructure projects.
The officer has previously been in the public eye due to controversies linked to alleged misconduct involving a disabled youth in Indore and a tribal land transfer case in Betul. However, the current posting is strictly an administrative decision, and no disciplinary action has been reported in connection with the new role.
State officials indicated that the reshuffle aims to bring fresh perspectives to district administration and improve service delivery for citizens of Bhind.
