The Ministry of Culture has launched an 'At Home' Independence Day campaign, encouraging citizens to celebrate the national holiday by recreating traditional art forms from Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.

On 15th August, the Ministry of Culture launched an 'At Home' Independence Day campaign, urging citizens to celebrate the national holiday by engaging with traditional art forms.

The initiative draws inspiration from the vibrant folk traditions of Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh, including Goa's folk dance, MP's Madhubani painting, Maharashtra's Warli art and Chhattisgarh's Saila art.

Participants are encouraged to create their own versions of these art styles, share them on social media using the hashtag #IdayAtHome, and join virtual workshops hosted by cultural experts.

The campaign aims to promote cultural heritage and foster a sense of unity among Indians while respecting public health guidelines.
