A tea stall owner in Hyderabad's Bhimgal area attempted suicide by self-immolation at the local police station following alleged threats and a prior petty case.

P Sudhakar, a tea stall owner in the Bhimgal area of Hyderabad, attempted suicide by setting himself on fire at the local police station. The incident occurred after he became agitated over alleged threats received from a rival grocery shop owner. Police sources indicated that the man was in a distressed state at the time of the incident.

Prior to this event, the police had registered a petty case against Sudhakar for violating late-night business hours. This legal action, combined with the alleged threats from his competitor, appears to have triggered the desperate act. The specific details of the threats were not disclosed in the immediate reports.

Police personnel present at the station took immediate action to extinguish the flames. Following the rescue, Sudhakar was rushed to a nearby government hospital for medical treatment. His current condition is being monitored by medical staff.
