Hyderabad police recovered more than 1 kilogram of gold during a burglary investigation in Banjara Hills and arrested the suspects.
Hyderabad police recently recovered more than 1 kilogram of gold in a burglary case that took place in the upscale Banjara Hills area. The stolen jewellery was found in a locked safe at the victim’s residence, according to police statements. Investigators used CCTV footage from nearby shops to identify the suspects and trace their movements.
The suspects were apprehended within hours of the discovery and are currently being held for further questioning. Police officials said the investigation is ongoing and that additional evidence is being collected to build a comprehensive case.
The recovered gold, valued at several lakh rupees, has been secured by the police and will be handed over to the victim once the legal process is completed.
