The city of Hyderabad recorded a minimum temperature of 14.8 degrees Celsius last night, indicating a noticeable cooling trend across Telangana.
Hyderabad experienced a dip in nighttime temperature, with the minimum reading reaching 14.8 degrees Celsius last night, according to the latest data released by the state meteorological department. The figure reflects a clear shift towards cooler conditions as the region moves deeper into the winter season.
Meteorologists noted that the 14.8°C low is below the recent nighttime averages for the area, signalling a more pronounced chill than has been typical in the past few weeks. While the city often enjoys milder evenings during this period, the current reading underscores a rapid cooling trend.
Authorities have advised residents to take standard precautions against the cold, such as dressing warmly and ensuring proper heating in homes. The cooler nights are also expected to influence electricity demand, with a potential rise in usage for heating appliances across Hyderabad and surrounding districts.
