Hyderabad Launches Direct Flight to Tashkent, Expanding Indo-Uzbekistan Connectivity

A new nonstop service between Hyderabad and Tashkent has begun, offering passengers a faster link between India’s southern hub and Uzbekistan’s capital.
The airline has inaugurated a direct flight between Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad and Tashkent International Airport, cutting travel time by several hours compared to the previous route that required a layover in a major Asian hub.
The service operates twice a week, with the first flight scheduled to depart from Hyderabad on Monday morning and arrive in Tashkent the following afternoon.
The launch is part of a broader effort to strengthen economic ties between India and Central Asian countries, following recent agreements on trade and investment.
Passengers can now book tickets through the airline’s website or authorized travel agents, and the flight will feature standard in‑flight amenities.
Officials from the Ministry of Civil Aviation have welcomed the new route as a step toward enhancing India’s global connectivity.
