Hyderabad authorities have taken action against 49 foreigners for alleged visa violations and drug-related offences. Twelve of them have been deported so far.

Hyderabad police and immigration officials have identified 49 foreigners involved in visa violations and drug-related cases. Authorities have initiated legal proceedings against them under the Foreigners Act and Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. As part of the action, twelve individuals have been deported to their respective countries after completion of legal formalities. The remaining individuals are reportedly under investigation and may face further legal action depending on the outcome. Officials said the operation aims to curb illegal stay and drug trafficking in the city.
