House Completely Damaged Due to Heavy Rain in Jalahalli’s 2nd Ward: Officials Conduct Spot Inspection
Poor resident Dadapir awaits government assistance
Jalahalli, Sept. 25: A house belonging to Dadapir, a resident of the 2nd Ward of Jalahalli town in Devadurga taluk of Raichur district, was completely damaged following heavy rainfall in the area.
Dadapir, who is financially disadvantaged and has no adequate support from family or relatives, is facing severe hardship following the damage to his house. He is currently taking shelter in another person’s house. He has appealed to the government and elected representatives to provide immediate relief and necessary assistance.
Following a request from ward leaders Hussain Nasi and Rangappa Togari, along with Gram Panchayat members, seeking government compensation for the affected family, officials from the Revenue Department and Gram Panchayat visited the spot and inspected the damaged house.
▣ Officials Assure Necessary Action
Following the inspection, the officials stated that a report regarding the house damage would be submitted to the government and that necessary recommendations would be made for compensation and assistance as per government rules.
