In recognition of his entrepreneurial achievements, humanitarian values and contributions to society, the Kala Sankula Organisation will honour him with the prestigious State-Level Kannada Rajyotsava Award at the Desi Sambhrama programme scheduled to be held at Rangamandira on November 8.
Mohammed Maheboob Nagundi studied up to SSLC and entered the business world through his family's establishment, Limra Juice Centre, founded by his father, Mahad Nagundi, in 1996. Over the years, he has earned the trust and appreciation of customers through quality service.
Learning the intricacies of business under his father's guidance, Maheboob did not limit himself to running a juice centre. He gradually expanded into various businesses, including special biryani, delicious jalebi, samosas, Balushahi and other food ventures, establishing a strong identity in the local business community.
One of the most remarkable qualities of Maheboob is the way he treats his employees as members of his own family. He has provided employment and shelter to people who have come in search of work from different parts of the country, including Nagaland, Odisha, Hyderabad and Uttar Pradesh.
Even during financial difficulties, he ensures that his employees receive their salaries without delay or compromise. "I may not understand the meaning of loss, but I certainly understand the importance of feeding the people who work alongside me," is how he expresses his commitment towards his workers.
