Holy City Cinema Debuts Women-Centric Film Series in Cincinnati

Holy City Cinema, a new independent theater in Cincinnati, officially opened its doors this week, launching a film series dedicated to women’s narratives. The opening event featured a curated selection of short films and feature-length works that explore diverse female experiences across cultures and time periods. According to the cinema’s founders, the initiative aims to provide a platform for underrepresented voices and foster community discussions around gender and storytelling. The series will run for several months, with weekly screenings followed by panel discussions with filmmakers and activists.
