HIV+ Inmate Injures Prisoner in Damoh Jail; Victim Referred to Sagar IRTC

A prisoner in Damoh Jail sustained injuries from the fingernail of an HIV-positive inmate. The injured individual has been transferred from the district hospital to Sagar's Institute of Research, Teaching & Consultancy (IRTC).
An incident of injury has been reported from the Damoh District Jail in Madhya Pradesh. A prisoner was reportedly wounded by the fingernail of another inmate who is HIV positive.
Following the injury, the affected prisoner was initially taken to the district hospital for medical attention. However, due to the nature of the injury and the HIV status of the assailant, further specialized care was deemed necessary.
The victim has subsequently been referred from the district hospital to the Institute of Research, Teaching & Consultancy (IRTC) in Sagar for advanced treatment and management.
