The Hindi dubbed version of the Kannada hit 'Toxic' crossed the ₹100‑crore mark on its fourth day, marking a significant milestone for the film's international release.
The Kannada blockbuster 'Toxic', starring Yash, was released in Hindi on 12 September and has been performing strongly in the domestic market. By the end of its fourth day, the Hindi version had collected over ₹100 crore at the box office, a milestone that underscores the film’s wide appeal beyond the Kannada-speaking audience.
According to NDTV Profit, the film’s total gross reached ₹101.5 crore, with the Hindi version contributing the bulk of the earnings. The Kannada version, meanwhile, has amassed ₹70 crore, bringing the combined worldwide total to over ₹170 crore.
Industry analysts say that crossing the ₹100‑crore threshold in such a short time is rare for a dubbed release, indicating strong word‑of‑mouth and a growing fan base for Yash’s films across India.
The distributors plan to extend the Hindi run for at least another week, while the producers are exploring a possible sequel based on the film’s success.
