Himachal Under Yellow Alert

The Indian state of Himachal Pradesh has been placed under a yellow alert due to heavy rain forecasts. The alert is in effect until August 11. As a result of the heavy rainfall, 112 roads have been closed, severely disrupting transportation in the region. Unfortunately, a devotee has lost their life in the inclement weather. The situation is being closely monitored by the authorities as they work to mitigate the effects of the heavy rain.
