The Himachal Pradesh government has announced a substantial subsidy scheme aimed at modernizing the state's public transport fleet. Under the new policy, the government will offer a 50% subsidy on the purchase of electric buses.
In addition to the incentives for greener transport, a 30% subsidy will be provided for the acquisition of diesel buses. This dual approach aims to facilitate fleet upgrades across different technological preferences.
