Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has announced that the Taklech school will transition to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) syllabus, aiming to enhance educational standards.
The government of Himachal Pradesh announced today that the Taklech school, located in the remote village of Taklech, will adopt the CBSE curriculum.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said the move would bring uniformity in teaching standards and provide students with better opportunities for higher education.
Education officials expect the change to improve exam results and align the school’s syllabus with national benchmarks.
Implementation is slated to begin in the upcoming academic year, with training sessions for teachers scheduled in the next few weeks.
