Himachal CM Sukhu addresses Kullu Dussehra celebrations virtually from Canada

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu joined the Kullu Dussehra celebrations through a live virtual link from Canada. The online address was streamed to the gathering in Kullu, where the annual festival draws thousands of devotees and tourists. Sukhu used the platform to underline the cultural significance of Dussehra for Himachal Pradesh and to thank the diaspora for keeping regional traditions alive abroad. He also urged the community to preserve the heritage of the festival for future generations. The virtual participation highlighted the growing use of digital tools to connect overseas Indians with local events.

Kullu Dussehra, known for its elaborate processions and traditional performances, continues to be a focal point of the state's cultural calendar. The chief minister's remote involvement was welcomed by organisers as a sign of the government's commitment to inclusive celebration, even for those living outside India.
