Late Thursday night, a fast‑moving tipper collided with two motorcyclists near LPU on Jalandhar’s Cantonment Highway, killing a doctor and leaving the other rider seriously injured.
A high‑speed tipper struck two motorcyclists on the Jalandhar Cantonment Highway near Lovely Professional University late Thursday night. The collision occurred close to the LPU campus, a stretch known for heavy traffic during the early hours.
One of the riders, identified as a medical doctor, succumbed to injuries at the scene. The second biker was rushed to a nearby hospital where he remains in critical condition.
