Commuters traveling from Noida to Delhi are likely to encounter slow‑moving traffic on several major roads today, prompting officials to recommend alternative routes.
Traffic officials have warned that vehicles moving from Noida towards Delhi are expected to face significant slowdowns on the main connecting arteries today. The congestion is reported across multiple key stretches that link the two cities, affecting both private commuters and commercial transport.
The slowdown appears to be linked to the usual peak‑hour surge compounded by ongoing maintenance activities on some sections of the network. While exact figures have not been released, the advisory notes that travel times could increase by up to 30 minutes on the affected routes.
Motorists have been urged to consider alternative corridors to bypass the bottlenecks. Suggestions include using less‑traveled side roads or diverting through adjacent highways that remain relatively free-flowing.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation and will update drivers through real‑time traffic feeds and local radio bulletins. Travelers are advised to plan ahead, allow extra time, and stay informed about any further developments.
