Heavy Rain Alert In MP

The eastern part of Madhya Pradesh is witnessing a fresh spell of rain, triggered by a low-pressure system and the monsoon trough. As a result, the India Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert for 18 districts in the region. The alert will remain in effect for the next three days, with Jabalpur, Rewa, and Shahdol divisions being among the affected areas. The heavy rain is expected to bring relief to the region, which has been experiencing hot and dry conditions. However, it may also lead to waterlogging and disruption of daily life in some areas.
