Heat and Chaos Mar 17th District Chess Tournament in Harda

The 17th district‑level chess tournament, held on the state’s foundation day, attracted 90 participants from Harda and surrounding areas. Players reported uncomfortable heat during matches, with inadequate cooling and no shade. Seating arrangements were described as disorganised, causing confusion among competitors. Loud noise from spectators and nearby traffic further disrupted concentration. Organisers have promised to improve facilities for future events.
