Meteorological Department has warned that a cyclonic circulation and a monsoon trough will bring widespread rain across Haryana until 6 August.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather bulletin for Haryana, indicating that a cyclonic circulation system and a monsoon trough will produce widespread rainfall across the state until 6 August. The bulletin notes that the cyclonic circulation, located over the Bay of Bengal, is expected to move westward and influence the weather over northern India, while the monsoon trough will bring deep convection and heavy showers. Residents in districts such as Gurgaon, Faridabad, Panipat and Rohtak are advised to take precautions, as heavy rainfall could lead to localized flooding and traffic disruptions. The IMD has also issued a Level 2 alert for the region, urging farmers to safeguard crops and urging commuters to check road conditions before traveling.
