The Haryana government approved a new bill that mandates a maximum 15‑day turnaround for approvals of new MSME units, aiming to accelerate small‑business expansion.

The Haryana state legislature has enacted a bill that requires government agencies to process applications for new micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) units within fifteen days. The measure is intended to cut down the lengthy clearance procedures that have traditionally slowed the setup of new manufacturing and service units.

Under the new law, applicants will receive a provisional approval within the stipulated period, after which any pending formalities must be resolved promptly. The state government expects the faster timeline to boost MSME investments and generate additional employment opportunities.

Officials said the bill aligns with Haryana's broader strategy to position the state as a hub for small‑business growth, complementing existing incentives such as tax rebates and subsidised credit facilities.
