The Governor of Haryana has called on banks and other financial institutions to intensify outreach to rural women entrepreneurs, emphasizing the need for tailored financial products and support.
In a recent address to the banking community, the Governor of Haryana urged financial institutions to broaden their outreach to rural women entrepreneurs across the state.
The governor highlighted that many women in villages lack access to credit, training and market linkages, and called for banks to design products that cater to their unique needs, such as smaller loan sizes, flexible repayment schedules and advisory services.
Strengthening financial inclusion for rural women is expected to boost local economies, create employment and empower women to become self‑reliant business owners.
