Farmers in Haryana are voicing their discontent as the scheduled paddy lifting has been delayed, leading to a hold‑up in their payments.
Farmers across Haryana have taken to the streets, demanding action after the scheduled paddy lifting was postponed, causing a delay in the release of their dues.
The delay has left many farmers waiting for payments that were supposed to be disbursed following the harvest. Several agri‑lobby groups have expressed frustration, citing the impact on their cash flow and the need for timely support.
Local authorities have yet to provide a definitive timeline for the resumption of the lifting process. The farmers are urging the government to expedite the operations and ensure that payments reach them without further delay.
The incident underscores the challenges faced by farmers in managing harvest logistics and financial stability, especially when government‑run schemes are affected by operational setbacks.
