The Haryana government has released more than ₹200 crore under the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi scheme to benefit women across the state.
The state of Haryana announced today that it has released over ₹200 crore under the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi scheme, a programme designed to provide financial support to women beneficiaries.
The scheme, launched last year, aims to empower women by funding income‑generating activities, education, health and other essential needs.
According to the finance department, the funds will be transferred to the bank accounts of eligible women in all districts, with verification carried out by local authorities.
State officials said the disbursement is part of Haryana’s broader strategy to boost women’s participation in the economy and improve rural livelihoods.
The scheme aligns with the central government’s Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana, and officials expect the money to reach beneficiaries within the coming weeks.
