During a visit to Singapore, the Chief Minister of Haryana attracted investment proposals worth about ₹5,500 crore for the state.

New Delhi – The Chief Minister of Haryana returned from a two‑day official trip to Singapore with investment proposals estimated at ₹5,500 crore. The delegation met Singaporean officials and senior executives from several multinational firms, presenting Haryana’s industrial corridors, logistics hubs and renewable‑energy projects.

Sources said the proposals span manufacturing, information technology, agro‑processing and infrastructure development. While the exact timing of the investments is yet to be finalised, the CM indicated that the commitments could generate thousands of jobs and add significantly to the state’s fiscal revenue.

State officials plan to review the proposals in the coming weeks and facilitate necessary clearances. If the projects materialise, they are expected to bolster Haryana’s position as a leading investment destination in northern India.

The visit also included a briefing on bilateral trade opportunities, with Singapore’s trade agencies expressing interest in expanding cooperation with Haryana’s emerging sectors.
