All-rounder Hardik Pandya has signed with Punjab Kings while top scorer Suryakumar Yadav has been drafted by Lucknow Super Giants, signalling a major reshuffle for Mumbai Indians.
Hardik Pandya, the Indian all‑rounder, has confirmed his move to Punjab Kings for the upcoming IPL season. In a parallel development, Mumbai Indians' leading batsman Suryakumar Yadav has been picked up by the Lucknow Super Giants.
The departures mark a significant shift for Mumbai Indians, whose core has long revolved around the contributions of Pandya and Yadav. Their exits will compel the franchise to re‑evaluate its batting and bowling combinations ahead of the tournament.
Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants, meanwhile, have bolstered their line‑ups with two of the league's most impactful players, aiming to strengthen their title bids.
Both teams will now integrate the newcomers during pre‑season camps, while Mumbai Indians look to nurture emerging talent to fill the void left by the duo.
