Hanumangarh Police Seize 1.5 kg Heroin Worth ₹3 Cr, Firearms and Cash in ‘Operation Chakravyuh’

In a raid under Operation Chakravyuh, Hanumangarh police recovered 1.546 kg of heroin valued at about ₹3 crore, along with a foreign pistol, ammunition and cash, and arrested one suspect.
Hanumangarh police in Rajasthan launched a coordinated crackdown dubbed “Operation Chakravyuh” targeting a cross‑border drug trafficking network. The operation culminated in the seizure of a substantial heroin consignment and related contraband.
Investigators recovered 1.546 kilograms of heroin, which authorities estimate to be worth roughly three crore rupees. Alongside the narcotics, a foreign‑made pistol, several cartridges and a cache of cash were also confiscated.
During the raid, police apprehended a single individual suspected of orchestrating the shipment from Pakistan through Punjab into Rajasthan. The suspect is currently in custody, and further interrogation is expected to uncover additional links in the smuggling chain.
