After a three‑month‑old girl died in Gwalior, her body was allegedly dug up and dumped in front of her house, prompting grieving relatives to block the street until police intervened.

The tragic death of a three‑month‑old girl in Gwalior was followed by a disturbing incident, according to local reports. After the infant was buried, a group allegedly excavated the grave and placed the corpse outside the family’s residence.

Outraged relatives retrieved the body from the street, laid it on the road and staged a road‑block to protest the alleged desecration. The demonstration caused traffic disruption in the neighbourhood as onlookers gathered.

Police units arrived at the scene shortly after the protest began. Officers secured the area, removed the body for proper handling and began an inquiry into the alleged exhumation and public disturbance.

Authorities have not released the identities of those accused of digging up the grave, but the incident has sparked widespread condemnation in the community, with calls for swift legal action.
