Gujarat's south districts saw 352 people rescued and over 22,000 relocated to safe areas amid heavy rainfall, with NDRF teams deployed and state emergency operations maintaining high alert.

During the day, 352 people were rescued in South Gujarat, and more than 22,000 residents were relocated to safe locations in Navsari and Valsad. Four NDRF teams have reached South Gujarat, with an additional team on standby in Surat, equipped with rescue gear and boats.
NDRF and SDRF teams are also stationed in Saurashtra districts, and the state has mobilised sufficient manpower and equipment to support the relief effort. After the rains subside, officials have been directed to undertake rapid cleanup, road repairs and health measures.
