Gujarat Giants head coach Klinger said the fresh acquisitions from the WPL 2027 auction broaden the team's tactical options.
The Women's Premier League (WPL) 2027 auction concluded with Gujarat Giants securing several new players for the upcoming season. Head coach Klinger, addressing the media after the auction, highlighted that the additions expand the squad’s flexibility across batting and bowling departments. He noted that the fresh talent provides the side with more strategic choices when formulating line‑ups.
Klinger refrained from naming specific players but emphasized that the recruitment aligns with the franchise’s long‑term plan to remain competitive. The coach also indicated that the coaching staff will integrate the newcomers during pre‑season camps to assess their roles.
The auction marks a pivotal moment for the league, as franchises like Gujarat Giants aim to strengthen their rosters ahead of the next campaign. The team now looks forward to a rigorous preparation phase before the season kicks off later this year.
