Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel visited Gandhidham on Tuesday, interacting with locals under the Seva Setu programme, aiming to bring government services closer to the people.
On Tuesday, Gujarat’s Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel arrived in Gandhidham to launch a new phase of the Seva Setu programme, a government initiative designed to streamline public services at the grassroots level.
The Seva Setu platform seeks to bridge the gap between citizens and government agencies by providing a single point of contact for various services, including land records, permits, and welfare schemes. The programme also incorporates digital tools to reduce paperwork and improve transparency.
During the visit, the CM met with local shopkeepers, farmers, and community leaders, listening to their concerns about infrastructure, water supply, and access to government schemes. He also inaugurated a mobile service unit that will operate in the region for the next six months.
Bhupendra Patel emphasized that the initiative will empower residents to obtain services more efficiently, reducing the need for multiple visits to different offices. He pledged additional support for local development projects and urged citizens to utilize the Seva Setu portal for their administrative needs.
