During the course of the probe, investigators detected a pattern where a 10% commission was allegedly routed through these entities. The total amount of tax that appears to have been evaded exceeds Rs 700 crore. CID officials have stated that the investigation is continuing and that relevant financial records are being scrutinised. No arrests have been reported at this stage, and the department is focusing on establishing the full extent of the alleged scheme.
