Gujarat Achieves 90% of Rooftop Solar Target with 9.08 Lakh Installations

Gujarat has installed 9.08 lakh rooftop solar systems, bringing the state close to its renewable energy target. The installations were completed across residential and commercial rooftops in various districts. With 90% of the target achieved, the state is on track to meet its goal of 1.5 GW of rooftop solar capacity by 2025. Officials say the move will reduce carbon emissions and provide cheaper electricity to consumers.
