Govt Hospitals Shift OPD Hours to 9am-3pm, Janata Clinics Run Two Shifts

Starting today, all government hospital outpatient departments will operate from 9 am to 3 pm, while Janata Clinics will run in two shifts to improve service delivery.
The Ministry of Health has announced a change in operating hours for all government hospitals across the country.
From today, outpatient departments (OPDs) will be open from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, a shift aimed at streamlining patient flow and reducing wait times.
In addition, Janata Clinics will now function in two shifts, allowing more patients to receive care during peak periods.
Health officials say the new schedule will improve accessibility and resource utilisation, especially in densely populated areas.
