The handloom sector has long been a cornerstone of Goa’s rural economy, providing livelihoods for thousands of weavers across the state.
In a recent statement, Goa’s Chief Minister announced that 100% of handloom output will be linked to market avenues in the near future.
The move is expected to streamline supply chains, reduce middle‑man margins, and improve income for artisans.
