The Goa Board released the 2026 Higher Secondary Certificate results, with a 92.9% pass rate and a higher success rate among female candidates.
The Goa Board of Higher Secondary Education has published the results for the 2026 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSSC) examinations. 92.9% of the candidates who appeared for the exams have passed, marking a strong performance across the state.
The pass percentage is notably high, reflecting the effectiveness of the board’s recent curriculum revisions and exam preparation initiatives. The results also highlight a gender disparity in success rates, with female candidates achieving a higher pass percentage than their male counterparts.
Board officials noted that the improved pass rate is a result of enhanced coaching support and better resource allocation to schools across Goa. They also emphasized the importance of continuing to support female students, who have shown a consistent upward trend in academic performance.
Parents and students are advised to review their individual marksheets, which will be available on the official Goa Board website. The board has also announced that the official certificates will be dispatched to the candidates’ registered addresses shortly after the marksheet release.
