Goa and Mizoram Swap Youth Delegations to Strengthen Cultural Ties

Goa and Mizoram have concluded a reciprocal youth‑delegation exchange, aimed at deepening mutual understanding between the two states. Under the agreement, a group of young participants from each state travelled to the other's capital to engage with local officials, cultural organisations and peer groups. The visits focused on sharing best practices in community development, heritage preservation and youth leadership.

Both delegations participated in workshops and cultural showcases that highlighted regional art forms, languages and traditions. Officials from the youth ministries of Goa and Mizoram said the exchange is intended to build long‑term networks among emerging leaders and to promote collaborative projects across the states.

The programme, announced by the respective state governments, reflects a broader push to encourage inter‑state cooperation beyond economic ties, emphasizing the role of young citizens in fostering national unity.
