The Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with the government and two private firms, will provide complimentary artificial‑intelligence training programmes aimed at helping small‑scale entrepreneurs adopt digital tools.
GCCI, in partnership with the central government and two unnamed private companies, announced a new initiative to deliver free artificial‑intelligence training to owners of small enterprises. The programme is designed to demystify AI technologies and show how they can be applied to everyday business operations such as inventory management, marketing and customer service.
The training will be offered at no cost and will combine online modules with hands‑on workshops, allowing participants to experiment with AI tools under guided supervision. Registration is open to all small‑business owners who meet basic eligibility criteria, and the schedule will be rolled out in phases over the coming months.
Officials involved in the launch said the effort aims to boost the digital competence of the micro‑enterprise sector, helping them stay competitive in an increasingly technology‑driven market. By equipping entrepreneurs with practical AI skills, the initiative seeks to foster innovation, improve productivity and open new growth avenues for India's small‑business ecosystem.
