Friend shoots companion on bike in Nishatpura, Bhopal; 20-year-old dies

Three friends returning from fishing on a bike in Nishatpura, Bhopal, were attacked when one rider shot another in the chest, killing the 20‑year‑old victim on the spot.
Three young men were riding a motorcycle back from a fishing trip in the Nishatpura area of Bhopal when a fourth rider, seated behind them, opened fire, striking 20‑year‑old Tashi in the chest. The bullet proved fatal and he died instantly at the scene.
The shooter, who was also on the bike, fled the spot after threatening the remaining passengers. Police arrived shortly after the incident and cordoned off the area to begin their investigation.
Investigators have recovered the spent cartridge and are reviewing nearby CCTV footage to identify the assailant. They have also questioned local residents and the surviving friends for any leads.
