Four Lucknow Youths Drown During Narmada Bath at Omkareshwar, One Dies

A tragic incident unfolded on the banks of the Narmada River at Omkareshwar when four youths from Lucknow, while taking a selfie during a religious bathing ceremony, slipped into deep water.
Local police and rescue teams responded swiftly, pulling three of the men to safety. Despite immediate medical attention, one of the youths, aged 23, could not be revived and was declared dead at the scene.
The Omkareshwar Municipal Corporation has urged visitors to exercise caution during bathing rituals and has increased patrols along the riverbank to prevent similar accidents.
