After a quarrel at a tea shop in Madhuban village, four men attacked Anil Kumar Rai's residence, firing two rounds. Police have apprehended one of the accused.

Muzaffarpur district's Kanti police station area witnessed a violent episode in Madhuban village on Tuesday. Following a dispute at a local tea stall, four individuals allegedly entered the home of Anil Kumar Rai and discharged firearms, firing two rounds inside the premises.

According to the police, the gunfire struck the house but did not result in any fatalities. A woman who was present at the time managed to escape unharmed, and there were no reports of other injuries.

Law enforcement officials launched an immediate investigation, locating and arresting one of the four suspects. The remaining three persons are still at large, and the police have appealed to the public for any information that could aid in their apprehension.

The incident has raised concerns about rising communal tensions and the proliferation of illegal weapons in rural Bihar, prompting local authorities to step up security measures in the area.
