Police raided a spa in Jalandhar, seized evidence of a prostitution racket involving two foreign women and arrested four suspects under B.N.S. provisions.
Police conducted a raid on a spa centre in Jalandhar after receiving a tip that the premises were being used for a prostitution operation. The sweep uncovered evidence of an organised racket and led to the arrest of four individuals suspected of managing the illicit activity.
During the operation, two young women of foreign origin were found at the location, confirming the information that foreign nationals were involved in the scheme.
The authorities have registered a case under the relevant sections of the B.N.S. Act and have launched a formal investigation into the network.
Investigators said the probe will continue to identify any additional participants and urged the public to report similar establishments.
